1. When I picked up my kids from PE today, the teacher said, “What’s the story with that kid?” indicating my student codenamed Disney. It kind of made me feel better that I am not the only one who thinks somethin’ ain’t right.
2. Mike got his tooth pulled out today with local anesthetic. The poor guy is not feeling very well. I am trying to be a good nurse, but don’t really know how to make him feel better. 😦
3. Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh Jennings won their third gold medal in beach volleyball. Those girls are awesome sauce!!
Things I learned today 
Every time Kerri Walsh started to cry, so did I. And she did it after the match, during the medal ceremony, during the interview with Bob Costas…They just seem so genuine and such real friends. Maybe I cry because i know what it’s like to have a friend like that! 🙂
Aww…Just had a mental image of us playing volleyball together- ha! Those girls just seem so nice, like we could be friends with them. I was so happy they won!
I can barely walk in sand, let alone throw my body in it, hit a ball, jump up and hit the ball again a second later! 🙂
